****OTHER KASHRUT INFORMATION****
We have recently received a number of enquiries about a catfish known as Vietnamese River Cobbler (also known as Basa, Panga or Boucourti), which has appeared in supermarkets and fishmongers. This fish is Not Kosher.
There has been some confusion over the Kellogg’s entry under ‘Cereal, Fruit & Nut Bars’ on p.8 of the Kosher Nosh Guide Summer 2009. The listing of all varieties as ‘NK’ refers ONLY to the cereal bars and not to any Kellogg’s cereals (which are not included in the Nosh Guide). Later versions of the Nosh Guide have been amended to make this distinction clear. To check which Kellogg’s cereals are kosher, visit the Kosher Product Search on our website www.kosher.org.uk
